Aref Hijjawi is a Palestinian writer and television presenter who has worked in both education and media. He has authored numerous works in language, media, and literature. Among his publications are "Al-Zubda" (The Butter), a five-volume collection of selected Arabic poetry, the novel "A Hurricane in the Fertile Crescent", and the booklet "My Life in Media". He hosted the program "Ladies and Gentlemen" on Arab Television in London and Doha. Aref Hijjawi strongly believes that the Arabic language is the only means for intellectual, scientific, and economic advancement in Arab countries.
