Course Description
In today’s expanding audio landscape, mastering radio and podcast production is essential for anyone seeking to create impactful content. This course equips participants with the foundational skills to produce and present engaging audio programming, whether for traditional radio or modern podcast platforms. Through hands-on training, participants will learn how to write for the ear, manage vocal delivery, conduct effective interviews, and produce polished content that stands out in a competitive digital environment.
Course Objective
By the end of this course, participants will:
• Write professional scripts for radio and podcasts.
• Apply effective voice control techniques for professional delivery.
• Prepare and conduct successful interviews for radio and podcast formats.
• Produce high-quality audio programs suitable for radio and digital distribution.

• Characteristics and requirements of writing for radio and podcasts:
- Writing for ear: language and style.
- Structure and focus of the audio story.
- Drafting audio scripts based on news agency briefs, journalistic articles, and more.
- Headings creation, introductions and link texts.
• Importance of voice in radio and podcasts:
- Voice features, characteristics and its impact on the listener.
- Voice control and synchronization to music.
- Communication methods between broadcaster and sound engineer.
• Basics of audio interviews:
- Basic principles of conducting interviews for radio and podcasts.
- Stages of preparing and conducting audio interviews.
- Build the radio interview and editing it (if needed).
• Program set up and execution:
- Preparing the program schedule and get ready to enter the studio.
- Behaviors to follow during the program.
- Preparing and executing short programs, discussing and correcting them.
