Bio
Fady Matar has been an accredited trainer at the Al Jazeera Media Institute since its inception. Since 2006, he has also overseen training programs in Arab countries for the Académie France Médias Monde, which includes Radio France Internationale, France 24, and Monte Carlo Doualiya. Fady has delivered numerous training courses at the institute, as well as for various radio and television stations and training centers across the Arab world, such as the Sharjah Media Corporation Training Center and the Arab States Broadcasting Union Training Center. He has provided consultations to several international organizations specializing in media training, including Hirondelle and Internews. His courses have been attended by a wide range of professionals, including media personalities, ministers, spokespersons, lawyers, and other public affairs experts.
Experience
- Accredited trainer at the Al Jazeera Media Institute since its inception. - Visiting professor at Senghor Francophone University since January 2013, and has conducted media training courses at Antonine University in Lebanon and Misr International University in Cairo. - Joined Radio France Internationale in 1987, where he held various positions, including program presenter, director, producer, and trainer. - Appointed head of programs at Monte Carlo Doualiya in 2003, where he managed a series of successful programs for several years. - Served as a technical advisor for the "Musique Sans Frontières" program on the third channel of French television and worked as an assistant director for promotional films produced by the Paul company and the Christian Chauveau Foundation in Paris.
