Course Description
Presenting interactive television programs is a media approach that focuses on engaging the audience—directly or indirectly—in the flow of the program. It is considered one of the most influential presentation styles because it enhances participation and makes the viewer a part of the content-creation process. This course aims to equip participants with practical skills in on-camera performance, managing dialogue and audience interaction, as well as the fundamentals of preparation and coordination to ensure successful and engaging interactive programs.
Course Objective
By the end of this course, participants will:
• Distinguish between types of interactive programs and the presenter’s roles in each accurately.
• Use delivery skills, body language, and emotional control in on-camera performance.
• Apply techniques for direct and indirect interaction and effectively handle unexpected interventions.
• Prepare a fully integrated interactive program content plan and coordinate with the production team.

- Differences between traditional and interactive presenting.
- Types of interaction: live and pre-recorded.
- Skills of a successful interactive presenter.
• Audio-visual presentation skills:
- Proper delivery, articulation, and tone control.
- Body language and maintain eye contact with the camera.
- Manage emotions and on-air time.
- Engage dialogue techniques for audiences and guests.
• Manage audience interaction:
- Techniques for live audience engagement.
- Methods of indirect interaction in recorded programs.
- Integrate social media platforms into the program.
- Handle unexpected or critical audience interventions.
• Prepare and coordinate interactive programs:
- Steps for developing interactive program content.
- Writing scripts and transitions while preserving interactivity.
- The role of preparation and coordination with directing and technical teams.
