About the Course:
With the continuous development of digital and social media, it is important to know the proper ways to communicate with each other while interacting and speaking. Social media networks are vital to connect both the organizational and individual levels. In fact, the principles of engagement and interaction include good manners, maintaining strong ethics and using social media tools and channels in ways that benefit individuals or organizations and their audiences. Morals and ethics are correspondingly important to the success of an individual or organization; and so on it is targeting influential people, finding good leadership and build generations.
With the way the Internet and social media change and vary, it is difficult to know how conversation and dialogue will be online in the coming years. Hence, this course will help identify ways to communicate with people with respect and care while interacting using social media. In addition, it will familiarize participants with the basic things that must be done and things that should be avoided when using all social media channels and tools. Moreover, tips will provide on how to become a good social media user.
In this course, you will participate in discussions, presentations, readings, case studies and others that will shed light on the strategies and applications of these new effective platforms.

At the end of the course, participants shall be able to know and understand:
- How to manage work ethics on social media.
- Digital/social media ethics challenges on the individual/personal level.
- Different types of audiences and how to deal with each type
- Effective management of crises on social media.
- Determine the status of the performance of social media accounts.
- identify 30 different ways to deal/interact/engage with others on social media.
Course Outline
This course offers an interactive training content which contains lectures, group discussions, exercises, self-assessment questionnaires, case studies, activities and learning based on videos. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive guide to social media etiquette and to protect yourself in the future.

- Each unit is followed by a session to ask questions and share answers.
- A questionnaire and a survey will be provided at the end of each unit.
- All units include role-playing, discussions, collaborative activities, case studies and examinations

• Introduction on the importance social media and its impact on society
• Ways of managing and solving problems online and to deal with different problems

Unit 1
• What are the most important social media ethics in the workplace?
• What are the most important social media ethics on the personal/individual level?
Unit 2
• How do I deal with the various public categories?
• How can we maintain safety and minimize the risks to our social media channels and sites?
Unit 3
• When do we need to put our accounts privately or publicly?
• More than 30 ways to interact/engage with others on social media
At the end of the Course:
Trainer will assess participants through theoretical or practical exam.
