 Public Relations Diploma kicks off with 11 trainees

Public Relations Diploma kicked off at Al Jazeera Media Institute on Saturday, August 17 with eleven trainees to continue for thirty training days led by a group of experts in communication and media experts.

Diploma program consists of a series of different training courses aimed at enhancing skills of trainees and developing their capabilities in the field of public relations and communication.

 The program starts with a course in planning public relations campaigns led by trainer Ali Al-Ajmi. This course aims to develop effective strategies in order to implement professional media campaigns, followed by a number of specialized courses, including a course on mental image creation and reputation management led by Kuwaiti journalist Dr. Bassam Al-Jazzaf from 20 to 22 August, where he focuses on how to build a positive mental image and effective institution reputation management

The program also includes communication course led by Mohamed Hassan Shammout from August 24 to August 26, which aims to improve trainees verbal and non-verbal communication skills and to promote effective communication inside and outside the organization. The Diploma will also feature a course on social responsibility presented by Ali Al Ibrahim on August 27, where he highlights importance of social responsibility and how it affects reputation of institutions in addition to discussing roles of institutions in community development.

Then, a course on organizing events and conferences led by expert Samir Al-Shamayleh will be offered from 28 to 31 August, to focus on skills required for organizing events and conferences and how to effectively manage such events to achieve the desired goals. Courses will also continue to include a protocol and etiquette course delivered by trainer Rima Arab from 01 September to 04 September to review foundations and rules of protocol and etiquette in formal and informal occasions.  Then trainer Ibrahim Hilal will present media crisis management course from 05 September to 08 September, which aims to enable trainees to deal with media crises and how to plan effective media strategies for crisis management. Digital Communication course will be led by Ahmed Sabry from September 09 to September 11, where he will focus on digital communication strategies, e-marketing and importance of digital presence of an organization.

The diploma also includes writing for public relations course offered by Aljazeera Media Network's Head of Communication Trainer Mohamed Sidi from September 12 to September 15, which will focus on enhancing journalistic and media writing skills and press release writing.

Finally, the Diploma program will end with media presence course presented by presenter Izdihar Shashaa from September 16 to September 19, to address importance of media presence and how to improve it to positively impact different media outlets.
