Al Jazeera Media Institute concluded a new training program titled "Entrepreneurship for Youth," for 14 boys and girls, where participants experienced the process of establishing their own projects from the idea to launching phase in a practical journey aimed at instilling initiative and innovation spirit among young participants.

The course starts by introducing participants to the world of entrepreneurship through stories, games, and interactive discussions, while learning key concepts such as: entrepreneur, product, customer, and service. Then children moved on to selecting project ideas that match their interests and satisfy customer needs.

Trainees also trained on necessary steps to establish a small company, which included dividing managerial roles among team members such as CEO, Marketing Manager and Brand Manager. They worked on building their project brand identities by choosing names, logos, pricing, target audience and reasonable sales plans.

The program ended with presenting innovative projects at a business exhibition, where participants confidently presented their ideas before peers and guests. Among the standout projects was "Key Craft," which produces 3D keychains featuring personalized names or logos, reflecting a creative spirit and an early understanding of market needs.

Course instructor Dr. Rania Al-Jamal noted that the experience goes beyond theoretical introduction to entrepreneurship to offer children the chance to live it in practice. She said: “The most important aspect of this course is that children practice entrepreneurial thinking, make decisions and learn teamwork. The ideas and passion we’ve seen promise a generation capable of creating opportunities and offering innovative solutions.”

The course’s closing exhibition featured participation of Mr. Hamad Al-Hajri, CEO of Snoonu, who toured projects and reviewed participants’ work models, expressing his admiration for the quality of their efforts. He encouraged them with this message: “Well done projects. What made this course special is its practical nature it gives children a real experience in the world of entrepreneurship. Dream big and work hard to achieve your dreams.”

The program provided a balanced educational model combining knowledge and practical application, giving children a motivating start to discover their potentials in business world with confidence and responsibility.

It is worth noting that the Institute will offer several training courses for youth next December, including another round of “Entrepreneurship for Youth” course.
