2 workshops for Tariq bin Ziad School within activities of Aljazeera Ambassadors Initiative

As part of the Aljazeera Ambassadors Volunteer Initiative activities, Aljazeera Media Institute held two training workshops for Qatar Foundation's Tariq Bin Ziad School, attended by twenty-six girl students.
Raghda Jamal presented “story writing workshop” for young age groups which focused on introducing students to the concept of plot in writing the story, Raghda said: Training the age group from 7 to 10 years is the most difficult challenge in the field of training as it is a very young age group, the training of which requires to design a training program full of activities and at the same time must be presented in a way that attracts attention and focus of the child.
She added: "While there is no specialized training for this age group, the Aljazeera Ambassadors Initiative is keen to dedicate several training courses every year to this group due to our deep belief in the importance of early media training for future generations.
On the other hand, Hamza Rababaa presented “mobile photography” workshop, which shed light on the difference between filming using mobile camera and photography camera, where the workshop focused on practical exercises with regard to stills and creative filming.
In the same context, girl students praised the atmosphere of the two workshops and the amount of fun and benefit they received, Maryam Al-Nuaimi said: Now I am aware of the benefits of the cell phone in my hands, and Sarah Al-Dosari added: I did not know that there are applications in mobile phones that can reduce tiresome efforts made by photographers after taking pictures.
