4 Training programs in Moroccan city of Sidi Ifni

Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative of Al Jazeera Media Institute organized four qualitative training courses for more than 80 Moroccan journalists, as part of endeavor of the Institute to disseminate media knowledge and enhance journalistic skills in Arab region.

The courses extended over intensive training days in the city of Sidi Ifni with varied topics that cover vital areas of media work. Dr. Mohamed Bakkali supervised TV report course, while trainer Amina Al-Sayyad trained participants in Podcast production course. Trainer Am'hamed Al-Aishi trained participants on of News bulletins production, while journalist Hashem Ahl Barra led an intensive course on TV reporter skills.

These training programs provided an open space for discussion and open dialogue about the future of journalism profession and challenges facing media professionals in the light of digital and political transformations.

The courses were organized in partnership with Sahara Observatory for Media Diplomacy, Peace and Development and the National Press Syndicate of Morocco, in a framework of collaboration that aimed at supporting Moroccan media landscape and empowering a new generation of young journalists with knowledge, skill and professional commitment.
