80 trainees in five courses in Morocco as a part of the Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative training activities

Al Jazeera Ambassadors Volunteer Initiative in partnership with National Press Council and Press House in Tangier, Kingdom of Morocco concluded series of training courses.

Where during the period from 24 to 26 July, 80 trainees joined five specialized courses, namely investigative journalism, photojournalism, data journalism, television reporter and digital story building.

These courses were supervised by a group of experts from Al Jazeera Media Institute, namely Mohamed Ahdad, Yousra Al-Asri, Dr. Arwa Al-Kaali and Dr. Mohamed Bakkali and photographer Bilal Khaled.

During this training program which held in Morocco, a symposium was held on the future of journalism in digital age attended by 25 journalists. Discussions of this symposium were led by each of Montaser Marei, Director of Media Initiatives Department, Abdullah Al-Bakkali, member of Professional Ethics and Disciplinary Cases Committee in Morocco and Abdul Ghani Bardi, representative of National Council for Human Rights in the interim committee in Morocco.
