AJMI and the Ministry of Endowments launch a program for developing skills of preachers

Al Jazeera Media Institute, in collaboration with the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, has launched the 2025 Preachers’ Skills Development Program. The program runs from October 12 to November 27, 2025, targeting developing skills of 120 preachers in communication, influence and impactful public speaking.
The program includes a number of specialized training courses in voice projection skills, art of oratory, and techniques of persuasive speech, under the supervision of a group of Al Jazeera Network experts, including expert Ramadan Al-Mosul and broadcaster Salem Al-Jahoushi. This initiative comes as part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s vision to transfer its media expertise to various community sectors and to enhance communication and public presentation skills through modern media methodologies.
For her part, Ms. Iman Al-Amri, Director of Al jazeera Media Institute, praised the fruitful partnership with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs over the past years, highlighting the Institute’s commitment to leveraging its training and media expertise to enable preachers to use modern communication and persuasion tools effectively in delivering their messages.
She emphasized that courses include practical training in voice performance, tone control, and managing preaching situation, in addition to enhancing public presence and confidence to strengthen the impact of religious discourse in society.
It is worth noting that Al Jazeera Media Institute has trained more than 450 preachers and imams in recent years under a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar, aiming to develop their preaching competencies and enhance their communication and influencing skills.
