AJMI announces names of journalist participating in the Aljazeera Fellowship 2024

Aljazeera Media Institute announced the names of male and female journalists who are going to participate in the Aljazeera Fellowship Program for the year 2024, Arabic version.
Names of selected journalists:
- Baker Abdul Haq – Palestine
- Bassam Ghaber – Yemen
- Hind Al-Daleel – Qatar
- Kawthar Saleh – Syria
- Zahraa Al-Akhras - Palestine/Canada.
Given that 2024 edition of the fellowship program was dedicated to research on Artificial Intelligence and its applications in journalism in three main areas: the applications of artificial intelligence in journalistic work, the new journalistic styles generated by Artificial Intelligence, and ethics of journalism in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
The program provides fellows with the opportunity to join various work teams in Aljazeera network, get acquainted with and involved in real work environment, meet editors-in-chief, journalists and those concerned in research, in addition to working in an appropriate media environment that includes diverse experience capable of providing necessary academic and professional support and guidance.
The two-month program will be divided into two phases, the first part will be done remotely and the second at the headquarters of Aljazeera Media Network. Participants will receive multiple training related to scientific research methodologies and contemporary media issues, under the supervision of Media Initiatives Department of Aljazeera Media Institute in addition to a number of fellow journalists and researchers from Aljazeera Media Network.
