AJMI – Doha
Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative has concluded a “creative writing” course held for Yemeni Students Union in Turkey, with participation of twelve trainees. The program consists of 10 training hours over four days, conducted online via Zoom.
Course trainer Raghda Jamal said the program reflected full attendance of participants and notable engagement. She added that trainees showed clear progress throughout training days, noting that their ideas during the course reflected deep understanding for basics of creative writing, particularly in character development, plot building, and dialogue writing.
The course also included a practical component that focused on principles and techniques of creative writing through hands-on exercises in character building, crafting dramatic plots, and writing dialogue, providing a good opportunity for trainees to develop their texts and refine their intellectual and creative tools.
This course comes as part of Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative activities, which aim to empower young people in fields of media and content creation, and to enhance their ability to express their issues through professional and creative storytelling.
