AJMI – Doha
Al Jazeera Media Institute recently concluded its Public Relations Diploma, for nine trainees completing an intensive 30-day learning journey that blended theoretical knowledge with practical applications in a professional environment simulating real-world work across media organizations and other sectors.
In the graduation ceremony, Ms. Eman Al Ameri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, congratulated participants on successfully fulfilling diploma requirements. She emphasized that the program’s distinctive strength lies in its integration of diverse skills within a single comprehensive framework, enabling graduates to view public relations as a strategic institutional function rather than merely a promotional or protocol-oriented activity. She expressed her hope that this achievement would mark a significant milestone in their professional careers.

Al Ameri concluded her speech by thanking trainers of the Diploma Program for their outstanding professional contribution, which played a fundamental role in excellence and success of the program. She reaffirmed commitment of the Institute to delivering high-quality programs that build and empower professionals in media, communication, and public relations.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, trainee Mohammed Atloubeh expressed participants’ pride in this enriching learning experience, noting that the diploma represented a valuable addition to their professional journey. He highlighted that it equipped them with essential knowledge and practical public relations skills while strengthening their competencies in effective communication, media presence, teamwork, and professional conduct, all of which contribute to building successful relationships within and beyond their organizations.
Mohammed added that the completion of the diploma marks not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new phase in which participants will apply what they have learned to enhance their professional performance and serve their institutions and communities. He wished continued success to all graduates and to Al Jazeera Media Institute in its ongoing mission of developing outstanding media professionals.
The successful conclusion of this diploma reflects Al Jazeera Media Institute’s commitment to establishing public relations as a strategic institutional function founded on a deep understanding of surrounding contexts and ability to craft messages that reinforce institutional identity, credibility, and public trust.
It worth noting that, the Diploma Program covers a comprehensive range of professional competencies, including public relations campaign planning, corporate image building and reputation management, institutional communication, crisis communication and management, protocol and etiquette, conference and event organization, writing for public relations and reinforcing professional media presence.
