AJMI - Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute has concluded its television presenting course, held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 12 to 16 June. The course was held in collaboration with Jood Media Center, as part of the Institute's external programmes.

Our presenter, Ayman Azzam, trained 10 people in the technical and editorial skills necessary for TV presenting. These included: voice skills; diction; appearing in front of the camera; coping with breaking news; professional reading of news bulletins and news briefs; and how to be quick on your feet during fast-changing news coverage.

The trainees engaged in practical exercises and came away with an excellent understanding of the most important aspects of TV presenting work.
