AJMI launches the first "Young Entrepreneur" course in English

Al Jazeera Media Institute continues its efforts to diversify its training programs for young age groups, as it works on introducing within “future media category”, young entrepreneur course for the first time in English language, under the supervision of Dr. Rania El-Gamal, during the period from 26 to 28 October at the Institute's headquarters, targeting children from 8 to 14 years old.
The course is offered entirely in English language, with the aim to introduce young participants to basic concepts of entrepreneurship, train them to create their own business ideas, building brand identity, designing a prototype product, as well as enhancing creativity, self-confidence, and effective communication skills in business environment, through practical and interactive activities including games, stories, teamwork and creative projects.
As for the theme of the course, it consists of three integrated phases, starting by introducing participants to basic concepts of entrepreneurship such as the entrepreneur, product, customer, and service, using interactive methods such as games, stories, and discussions. This is followed by project building phase, where children are trained to choose an innovative idea, designing logos and brand names, create project visual identity, design a suitable prototype, identify customers, define a pricing strategy and develop an effective sales plan.
The course concludes with practical training on how to present projects at business fair, where children share their business ideas and projects in an interactive atmosphere that boosts their self-confidence, allows them to receive feedback and hone their creative and business skills.
This initiative comes in response to the needs of innovators of the new generation, and to enable them to explore the world of entrepreneurship early, and to build their practical personality in a stimulating environment that combines learning and fun.
