AJMI launches an interactive program titled: Writing for Digital Video

Al Jazeera Media Institute is set to launch its new digital program, “Writing for Digital Video,” developed by colleague Ahmed Sidi and presented by colleague Yousra Al-Asri.
The program aims to shed light on the art and principles of writing for digital platforms through a simplified educational approach that keeps pace with the rapid transformations in content creation landscape. It targets journalists and content creators seeking to enhance their narrative and visual storytelling skills.
“Writing for Digital Video” addresses fundamentals of digital scriptwriting, starting with crafting compelling introductions and impactful headlines, and extending to visual conceptualization and editing techniques. It also explains the evolution of writing styles in line with the nature of each platform. The program is distinguished by its concise and interactive language, blending solid professional standards with demand of modern digital publishing, making it an accessible knowledge reference across Institute’s digital platforms. Launching this program comes as part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s ongoing efforts to provide specialized educational content that meets the needs of new generation of media professionals, amid the growing reliance on video as a primary tool for communication and influence.
