AJMI LAUNCHES A NEW ARABIC LANGUAGE ONLINE COURSE

AJMI - Doha

Al Jazeera's e-learning platform, affiliated with Al Jazeera Media Institute, has launched a course titled "Arabic Industry"- Nouns," presented by expert Sidi Ihramou. This course consists of 192 minutes of training and aims to refine language proficiency and cultivate refined expression, preparing participants to master the art of Arabic writing and the rules of Arabic speech.

This course covers the regulations, derivatives, and styles of Arabic language. It is named "Arabic Industry" because, like any other industry, mastering the Arabic language can only be achieved through practice, repetition, and habituation.

The objectives of the course can be divided into two main cognitive goals. Firstly, it seeks to provide trainees with knowledge about letters and words, such as the traits of Arabic in the pronunciation of letters and word positions, as well as the distinction between the declined and the underlined, the difference between the fully vocalized and the partially vocalized, and the distinction between proper nouns and nouns of meaning.

Additionally, the course includes techniques for overcoming confusion when the subject is delayed while the predicate advances, and what to do if the subject is indefinite. It also explores how to determine the position of the subject in a sentence, the rules for its arrangement, common errors, and intonation.

The trainer of this course, targeting language reviewers, is colleague Sidi Ihramou, a language and literature researcher who worked as an editor and content producer at Al Jazeera Media Network. He has also trained in Arabic language skills for journalists and linguistic editing at Al Jazeera Media Institute. Sidi Ihramou is a professional Arabic teacher, proficient in grammar, morphology, and eloquence.
