AJMI organizes Media Capacity Development Program for Yemeni Leaders from Horizon Leaders Foundation

Al Jazeera Media Institute is organizing a two-week training program for Horizon Leaders Foundation for youth development, designed to develop media and professional skills of 12 administrative and media leaders from Yemen through four specialized training tracks.

Part of the opening session

The first week of the program, titled New Horizon Leaders (Nahl), features a Media Skills and Public Relations course led by Dr. Ghassan Abu Hussein. The course focuses on enhancing communication skills and professional engagement with media, alongside a Television Interview Skills course delivered by journalist Mohammed Krichan, focusing on how to handle and prepare for TV interviews and how to deliver key messages clearly and confidently on camera.

Visiting the institute's facilities

The program continues into its second week with a course on Building Public Image and Reputation Management led by Mr. Ahmed Salim Yildiz, focusing on building a strong institutional image and managing reputation across diverse media environments. And finally, the program concludes with a course on Writing Official Letters and Reports led by Mr. Ahmed Hafez, addressing fundamentals of preparing and drafting correspondence and reports in line with established professional standards.
 
The program is part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s ongoing efforts to share media expertise and developing capabilities of institutions and individuals in the fields of communication and media through training programs that seamlessly blend theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience.
