Al Jazeera Media Institute is going to launch a specialized “Mobile journalism course” in Istanbul in cooperation with "Jood" Media Center from October 28 to November 1.

In this context, trainer Nadim Al-Mallah said: "I am pleased to train this course, especially in this time that witnesses an unprecedented technological acceleration where traditional journalism is moving into digital journalism that relies heavily on smartphones. "In this course, we will provide course participants with the necessary skills and capabilities that help them timely capture and publish news accurately by their own mobile phones. Acquiring these skills become an important requirement to address an audience who is always hungry for urgent information. As in today's world, the ability to produce fast and reliable news content has become an invaluable skill.

Participants of this course will be able to use mobile camera, record audio and use editing programs in the best way, and will learn basics of video shooting using mobile phones in addition to mastering skills of shooting, editing and broadcasting media content on a mobile phone and above that understanding ethical standards govern media production with mobile phone.
