AJMI re-launch its redesigned website

AJMI – Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute relaunched its redesigned website with a new look on Wednesday, December 12. This platform contains all the services of and information about the institute so it would fit the most recent versions of web browsers and portable devices such as smart phones and IPads.

Ahmed AlFahad, Executive Director of Technology & Network Operations was pleased with the effort his team has done to present a website that befits the institute’s status and role. “We are proud to contribute to the Al Jazeera Media Institute’s progress; and looking forward to further joint work in the future,” said AlFahad.

Ramzan Alnoimi, Director of Network Creative Directorate congratulated our colleagues in the institute; and took pride in his team’s achievement pertaining the visual branding, which was based on user’s needs, and standards and criteria used for international training and educational websites.

For her part, Eman Al Amri, AJMI Manager of Planning & Projects said the teams worked on this project for over one year. She pointed out that having a versatile and rich content as well as innovative look and the latest of the communication tools were on top of the specifications for this website. Al-Amri took the opportunity to express appreciation to all the team worked on developing this website including all the engineers, technicians, designers.

The new version of the website is more usable with better and faster accessibility to the information. Moving between sections has become smoother and the links between them are much more obvious.

The AJMI’s website includes many media-related educational topics such as the weekly series on the “Secrets of the Arabic Language” by Arif Hijjawi, educational videos. The main tabs of the site includes: Institute’s Services, Publications, Story, Online Learning, Initiatives, and others.
