AJMI'S "AL JAZEERA AMBASSADORS" IN MOROCCO

 AJMI – Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute, along with the Higher Institute for Media and Communication and the Moroccan National Press Council, conducted ten training workshops for over 200 Moroccan journalism students and professional journalists from March 13 to 17, 2023.

In this context, workers in public and private audiovisual media, print and electronic newspapers benefited from five workshops led by a group of trainers from Al Jazeera Media Institute, covering the following areas: television presentation, television reporting, documentary film production, investigative journalism and news verification.

As for journalism students, they were allocated workshops in podcast production, data journalism, television bulletin production, digital story building, and journalistic narrative.

The second edition of the Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative aimed to strengthen the capabilities of professional journalists and enable students registered in the various wires of the Higher Institute for Media and Communication to complete their training and refine their skills in some new journalistic genres, which have become one of the main keys to entering the labor market.

These courses were organized at the headquarters of the Higher Institute of Information and Communication, in the Madinat Al Irfane, Rabat.
