Al Jazeera Media Institute and the Olympic Committee concluded “Itqan” Diploma

Al Jazeera Media Institute concluded, in presence of leaders from both parties, "Itqan" diploma, which was held for the interest of Qatar Olympic Committee with 15 Qatari male and female trainees. The diploma includes eight development programs extended from May 30 to December 11.

The diploma training was supervised by a specialized team of experts from Al Jazeera Media Institute including Dr. Khaled Al-Haddad, Dr. Ahmed Ali and Samira Baba and covered a set of main topics such as teamwork, basic communication skills, stress management, problem solving, decision-making, communication with different personal styles, self-awareness management, emotional intelligence and importance of time management and prioritization.

Hamad Al-Houl, Director of Planning and Projects Department at the Institute, expressed his pride in the trainees and their achievements in knowledge and skills throughout this program which is specially designed to provide and empower participants with the necessary tools and skills to achieve excellence, considering that as "a milestone and positive step towards achieving success in multiple professional fields”, as you all have shown good commitment and perseverance during the diploma period, and I wish you success.

Maryam Mohammed Al-Kuwari, Director of Human Resources and Administration at Qatar Olympic Committee, said: "Today, we are proud to graduate participants of the diploma, and this stage is an important milestone in the employees' professional journey, as they learned and acquired new skills and knowledge that will contribute to their personal and professional development. We are confident that they are going to inspire and rejuvenate our team.

She added: "Skills acquired from the diploma will improve individual competence and that will lead to improving the whole team performance. These achievements will open new horizons for achieving objectives of the committee and will contribute to its continuous success.

She said: "We look forward to seeing brilliance of (Itqan) diploma graduates and their permanent development in our field of work, and we hope that the training will positively affect their career paths."

Saeeda Al-Abdullah, who represented diploma graduates, praised the efforts of trainers and training quality in addition to extending her appreciation and thanks to coordination staff and technical staff of Al Jazeera Media Institute, which contributed to achieving the maximum benefit from the program.

It should be noted that the diploma is not the first cooperation with Al Jazeera Media Institute, as it was preceded by organizing many training courses for the Olympic Committee covering different fields such as, dealing with the media, leadership skills, strategic planning and art of public speaking.
