AJMI – Doha

Production Unit of Planning and Projects Department at Al Jazeera Media Institute produced more than 250 visual materials in 2023, including short videos and promotional films.
The unit covered many influential local conferences and events in the fields of artificial intelligence and training during 2023. These coverage includes media coverage for  “AI in Media Conference” as the first conference of its kind in Arab region organized by the Institute, in addition to media coverage for the “Forum of Journalism Colleges in Arab World”.
Also media coverage was extended to cover the most inspiring events in fields of education and innovation in the State of Qatar, such as the fifteenth School Robotics Championship held by Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar, the Arab Youth Anti-Corruption Hackathon, the First International Conference on Debate and Dialogue and Doha Learning Days (WISE) Conference.
In 2023, the unit also documented more than 4,500 images, including ceremonies held for signing memorandums of understanding, strategic partnerships, official and field visits, training courses, press conferences and forums.
The unit had also provided successful quality timely media coverage for several institutions and organizations in the State of Qatar, including but not limited to media coverage of "Akhlaquna" award of Qatar Foundation, coverage of the First International Conference on Debate and Dialogue of QatarDebate, media coverage of the Doha Learning Days conference of Qatar Foundation, “Teach for Qatar” and many others.
The unit is also involved in producing and filming short or long documentaries using the latest technology and equipment and collaborated with Ministry of Justice in the State of Qatar, Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States, Administrative Control and Transparency Authority in the State of Qatar, Behavioral Health Support Center in the State of Qatar, Qatar National Bank, Investment Holding Group, Qatar Fund for Development, and Rassd Center for Humanitarian and Development Studies.
The unit’s work extends to include filming educational programs and materials in high technical quality to ensure an effective educational method. Based on our belief in the importance of transferring knowledge and providing enjoyable and effective learning experiences, the unit is concerned with filming lectures, interactive training courses, scientific experiments and interactive activities and had already produced educational programs: such as "With the Dhad", "Media knowledge", "simultaneous interpretation", " Sign Languages", "Half an hour", "Philology" part 1 and part 2, "culture of the presenter", "Linguistic knowledge", "Voice and Diction" and "Be a presenter" and "secrets of language".
