The administration of Al jazeera Media Institute met last Thursday with Amadou Diem, Ambassador of Republic of Mali to Qatar, in a move aimed to enhance cultural and media cooperation between the two parties.

During the visit, the Ambassador expressed his happiness with this visit, praising the Institute while stressing the benefits that cooperation in the field of media and journalism can bring to both parties.

The visit also included discussions on media and technical developments and a review of the experience of the Institute in the field of training and media consulting and possible cooperation opportunities.

For her part, Iman Al Ameri, Director of the Institute, welcomed this visit and expressed her aspiration for fruitful cooperation in more wider horizons.

During his tour in the Institute's headquarters, the Ambassador praised the high-tech equipment and the professional level of training, and was briefed on the most prominent achievements and media capabilities of the Institute, which include providing media courses and Arabic language courses for non-native speakers provided by Arabic Learning Unit, in addition to e-learning courses.
