Aljazeera Media Institute hosted her excellency Ron Said Korchill, Chargé d'Affairs at the Embassy of Somalia in the State of Qatar last Thursday, August 31/2023.

Mrs. Ron was briefed on the  history of the Institute's in the fields of media training and development, as well as the experience of Al Jazeera during the past 26 years and its most prominent achievements..

The Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Somalia also toured training facilities of the Institute and specifically television studio and Radio studio. She was also given a chance to lively watch some of the courses currently underway at the Institute, and briefed on training services and courses given by the Institute in different media fields.

During the visit, she met with journalist and presenter Mohammad Krishan, who in turn introduced her to practical training and exercises done by trainees in TV presentation courses.
