Al Jazeera Media Institute concluded two "Official Spokesperson" courses held in Muscat for the Omani Ministry of Education in cooperation with Rawabet Company for Distinguished Development last week.

Media presenter Ayman Azzam trained 27 participants on the skills of dealing with the media and said: "The spokesperson course in general is one of the most courses in which the trainer needs to have a solid training plan, that focuses mainly on the practical aspects because trainees of this course are usually characterized by a high level of responsibility in their institutions; and they join the course to be prepared to become official spokespersons to represent their institutions in the media."

Azzam went further to add: "The trainees were taking seriously practical exercises in the course and remarkably interactive. He also praised their high attention in all details, whether in attendance, interaction or practical exercises.

At the end of the two sessions, the program participants were honored in the presence of Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al-Shaibani, Omani Minister of Education and in presence of some other leaders of the Ministry.

It is noteworthy that the course targeted the directors of the general directorates of the Ministry's General Office and the educational provinces.
