Memorandum of Understanding between Al Jazeera Media Institute and Middle East Council for International Affairs

On Wednesday, 10 December, Al Jazeera Media Institute and Middle East Council for International Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in capacity building and implementing joint training programs.

This cooperation reflects the commitment of both parties to developing professional skills of workers of media and related fields, through designing and implementing specialized courses and workshops that contribute to enhancing participants’ skills and expanding their knowledge.

The memorandum will also focus on collaborating to develop and offer training programs covering various topics, in line with expertise of both parties and in support of the growing needs of media labor market in the region.

Signing of this memorandum stems from the commitment of both parties to support initiatives that contribute to strengthening professional competencies and providing high‑quality training opportunities that promote continuous development in media and knowledge-related fields.

The year 2026 sets the timeframe for implementing the memorandum, with training programs to be activated according to specific detailed agreements to be approved by both parties at a later stage.
