Al Jazeera Media Institute welcomed Mr. Amir Hassan Al-Bashir Al-Hassan, minister of finance, and Dr. Satti Hassan Satti, minister of health of Sudan’s Northern State. During the visit, the delegation toured the institute’s facilities and reviewed its advanced training capabilities.

Dr. Satti Hassan expressed his admiration for the institute’s significant contributions to the development of media at both Arab and Sudanese levels. He emphasized his country’s keenness to establish a partnership with the institute to enhance capacities of media professionals across various regions of Sudan, in a way that positively impacts officials, leaders, and practitioners in media and journalism fields, as well as researchers in media studies.

The visit also featured in-depth discussions on opportunities for joint cooperation in areas of media training and capacity building, exchange of expertise and development of specialized programs that meet the needs of media institutions and official bodies in Sudan’s Northern State
