New courses of Aljazeera Institute: News programs production Course

Al Jazeera Media Institute is going to launch next October “News programs production” course at the Institute's headquarters during the evening period. The course will be led by trainer Ibrahim Hilal, managing editor of Aljazeera English Channel, from 20 to 24 of October.

This course aims to provide trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills they need to produce television news programs characterized by deep analysis and engaging content, especially as trainees will be trained on how to select and develop news topics of interest, in addition to understanding the role of the producer in this process. 

The course will also cover various stages of production starting from planning to broadcasting, focusing on importance of visual content and modern technologies and their role in improving the quality of programs.

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to define principles and basics of news program production, identify appropriate news topics, analyze and present events and topics in depth, and apply visual production techniques to enhance viewers' interaction with programs.

It noteworthy that trainer Ibrahim is a veteran journalist with more than 25 years of expertise in media, during which he worked for Egyptian TV, BBC TV, Abu Dhabi TV and Al Jazeera Media Network. His career reflects various important landmarks, ranging from journalism to editorial leadership and strategic management. He also co-founded and launched Al Jazeera English Channel and was the channel's deputy director for editorial affairs until January 2010. He also oversaw the launch of Al Jazeera Balkan in Sarajevo.
