Remote Course on "Digital Storytelling" from among Al Jazeera Ambassadors’ Programs

As part of "Al Jazeera Ambassadors" initiative, Al Jazeera Media Institute concluded a remote training course on "Digital Storytelling" for Rohingya News Platform. The course was delivered by trainer Firas Ghani and targeted 13 participants interested in digital production and platform journalism.

Over three days, totaling nine training hours, participants explored characteristics of various digital platforms and how to effectively employ them for storytelling. They also learned how to identify target audience and how to select the most suitable format for each platform to maximize reach and impact.

On practical side, trainees produced creative digital stories using modern digital tools, focusing on simplifying ideas and engaging audiences through images, text, and video. The course also introduced use of artificial intelligence in refining digital story scripts, in addition to mobile photography and editing techniques.

Participants praised content of the course and trainer’s expertise, highlighting the value of course practical component and skills they acquired to enhance their professional presence across different digital platforms.
