SIGNS A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH "MCIT"

Al Jazeera Media Institute (AJMI) has entered into a media cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in the State of Qatar. The agreement, signed on Monday, May 22, 2023, encompasses a wide range of areas, including the utilization of AJMI's annual training programs, the organization of specialized courses and workshops for the Ministry, the production of marketing and documentary films, the provision of media consultations, and the coordination of joint workshops, seminars, and conferences.
The agreement was formally endorsed by Eman Al Ameri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Mutawa, Director of Human Resources at MCIT. During her speech, Al Ameri expressed her appreciation for the signing of the agreement, emphasizing that it strengthens the ties between the two parties, particularly in the realm of media cooperation. She noted that the cooperation between AJMI and MCIT has been ongoing for several years, encompassing the establishment of a series of specialized courses. Furthermore, MCIT's participation in the technical exhibition pavilion accompanying the Artificial Intelligence in Media Conference, organized by QEERI last March, served as a testament to their collaborative efforts.
The Director of the Institute expressed her aspiration to explore new avenues for cooperation, particularly in terms of educating the community about the significance of employing information technology in secure and productive manners. She also emphasized the importance of building a knowledge society based on the digital economy, aligning with the goals outlined in the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al-Mutawa, the Director of Human Resources at the Ministry, echoed his enthusiasm for signing the agreement with Al Jazeera Media Network, representing the esteemed Al Jazeera Media Institute. Al-Mutawa added, "We eagerly anticipate harnessing the Institute's expertise in enhancing media skills and navigating diverse media landscapes, including the art of public speaking, along with other services provided by the Institute."
