Specialized Technical Training tops 2026 Programs

Al Jazeera Media Institute has placed specialized technical training at the forefront of its 2026 programs, offering a rich lineup of courses in picture editing, color grading, graphic design, and text and content motion graphics. The program targets a wide range of visual production enthusiasts, ranging from professionals working in newsrooms and studios to hobbyists seeking to transform their passion for visual arts into advanced practical skills.
The program runs from May through December 2026, with most courses scheduled in the evening to accommodate employees and students. This aligns with the Institute’s mission to refine technical skills and build Arab talent capable of keeping pace with developments in media industry.
Courses are led by specialized trainers who bring their hands-on expertise into the classroom, enabling participants to explore methods and tools used in professional media production.
The program features a broad selection of courses in picture editing software and professional tools, including “DaVinci Resolve” (with its various specializations such as color grading, English-language, and Fairlight), “Final Cut Pro”, “Avid Media Composer”, and “Premiere Pro”. It also includes a course on “Aesthetics of editing”, which focuses on artistic and narrative aspects of visual storytelling, as well as a “Text and content Motion Graphics” cours using “Fusion”, enabling participants to produce dynamic visual content suited for television and digital platforms.
In the field of design, the Institute offers specialized courses in “Illustrator” (including an English-language course), “Photoshop”, “Lightroom”, and “InDesign”, alongside “Canva” and “Screen design” courses. These programs provide participants with practical tools for creating visual identities, processing images, and designing print and digital materials, enhancing the presence of professional visual production across Arab media landscape.
Courses are delivered by certified trainers with hands-on experience in newsrooms, production houses, and digital platforms, ensuring transfer of real-world expertise to trainees and linking acquired skills to the needs of media job market.
