On Monday morning, May 15, a group of 27 talented students in media skills from Alkom-International Academy visited Al Jazeera Media Institute

The delegation was briefed on the establishment and the role of Al Jazeera Media Network during the past 26 years, as well as the tangible contributions of the Institute in developing young Arab cadres in the field of media.

The delegation was introduced, through colleague Jana Al-Muslimani, to  news sources and necessary steps for news story making down to the screen. Then, the delegation toured the media facilities in the Institute including both TV and Radio studios.

The delegation hailed the visit and showed positive impressions. Mohammed Al-Haddad, one of the delegation members, expressed his excitement with TV direction and said “From nom on I see myself as a director … I was impressed by what I have seen in my visit to the institute, the control room has become my dream.”
