Al Jazeera Media Institute welcomed a delegation of youth members from Al- Gharafa Sports Club last Tuesday as part of a visit designed to introduce them to media work environment and professional training opportunities available for young people.

The visit featured a workshop on fundamentals of television presentation, presented by media professional Mohammed Shabrawi. The session introduced participants to the nature of a TV presenter’s role, essential skills required for success, in addition to practical tips to develop such skills. It also highlighted the similarities and distinctions between the roles of a news anchor and a television presenter, provided guidance on necessary preparations before going on air, and focusing on professional responsibilities and procedures that follow a live broadcast.

The program also included a guided tour of the Institute’s radio and television studios, as well as the control room, where delegation members explored program production various stages and broadcast management. They were also briefed on Institute’s training environment and the wide spectrum of media training offered by the Institute across different specializations.
