Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative launched 138 courses during 2024

"Al Jazeera Ambassadors" initiative of Aljazeera Media Institute achieved a 30% increase in the number of courses and workshops held in 2024, as it launched 138 courses and training workshops compared to last year.
Raghda Jamal, supervisor of the initiative, explained that these programs included 108 training courses and 30 workshops, covering more than 90 different training titles with a total participation of 2,634 trainees from various Arab and non-Arab countries.
She added, "These titles focused on important topics such as journalists digital security, digital story building, and creative writing, reflecting the sincere commitment of the initiative to meeting needs of journalists and media professionals in various disciplines.
Given that these courses covered many Arab countries such as Morocco, Yemen, Libya, Oman, Sudan, Tunisia, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Qatar, and Jordan, in addition to non-Arab countries such as Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Bosnia and Turkey.
"Al Jazeera Ambassadors" initiative still going on its voluntary mission to enhance media skills and build capacities in different communities which contributes to achieving its goals aiming at spreading values of responsible professional journalism.
