e-learning platform of Aljazeera Media Institute announced the launch of a new training course under the title "Planning and management of documentary film production", led by trainer Sami Al-Darbashi, a documentary producer and director.

This online course will provide trainees with the opportunity to learn and understand documentary types and styles, in addition to understanding documentary production process from idea formulation to presentation to producers. The course also covers methods for developing creative processing and production stage scheduling, in addition to providing a breakdown production budget and elements.
The course also covers key topics in the field of television production and documentary filmmaking, such as legal issues related to intellectual property rights and editorial standards required to ensure quality content.
It is noteworthy that Sami Al-Darbashi has extensive experience in documentary production and direction, where he directed and produced dozens of programs and documentary episodes including famous films such as "Arab Jews", "Petrodollar War", "At Sunrise", and " The Sublime Porte", in addition to a number of prominent program episodes such as "Hour Affairs (In the Foreground)" and "A witness to the Era".
This course comes as a part of the efforts of e-learning platform to enhance creative and specialized skills in the field of documentary media, as such courses play an important role in supporting documentary filmmaking as it is a powerful tool to convey facts and highlight social, humanitarian and cultural issues.
