Bio

Mohamed Ahdad is a journalist at Al Jazeera Media Institute with 13 years of experience in newsrooms. He won the Arab Journalism Award in Dubai in 2014 and the Grand Prize for Journalism in Morocco in 2018. He has gained extensive experience in investigative journalism and narrative storytelling. He authored the book "A Hand in Water and a Hand in Fire" on investigative journalism and the book "The Sahara: The Other Story".
