Bio
Mahmoud AlKen is a journalist and senior producer in the newsroom at Al Jazeera. He has received multiple international awards in investigative journalism and storytelling through graphics and data visualization. He founded the military analysis segment on Al Jazeera, contributed to establishing the program "Shabakat," and produced numerous investigative documentaries alongside his daily newsroom work. Mahmoud has won prestigious awards for his investigative work and storytelling via graphics, including recognitions from the New York Festivals, Marcom, Promax, and Newscast Studio. He also played a key role in redefining editorial uses of graphics and how they integrate with studios during the 25th anniversary celebrations of Al Jazeera’s launch.
