Bio
Moayad Abdullah is a media production specialist with over 25 years of experience in documentary filmmaking and news reporting. He began his academic journey by studying Cinema and Television at New Mexico University. He conducted training courses with Internews Europe in Libya and other training sessions in documentary production and news media in Jordan and Iraq. In the news sector, he worked with various global American and European channels and was a founding member of the Fox News offices in both Afghanistan and Iraq. He covered events following September 11 in collaboration with ABC News in Yemen in 2001, as well as the trials of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in 2006. He primarily worked with Fox News in covering the American invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and events in the Middle East since 2000. In the documentary field, he produced and directed numerous films for Al Jazeera within the Black Box and special investigations programs, including investigative films such as "The Death Truck" and "Uranium: Silent Death," along with investigations in Iraq. His documentary collaborations extended beyond Al Jazeera, as he also directed investigative films for Al Arabi TV and others.
