Amel Arissi is a professional journalist specializing in audio storytelling, with nearly two decades of rich and influential experience in media and communication. She currently serves as a Senior Producer at Atheer, where she oversees the editorial and administrative production of several distinguished programs, including Dhu Al-Sha’n, Event Questions, Al-Bilad, Maghareb, and Sakan. Before joining Al Jazeera, Amal spent ten years as a journalist, news anchor, and program presenter at Tunisia’s leading radio station — Mosaique FM. This experience honed her voice performance skills and deepened her understanding of audience dynamics. Amel strongly believes in the power of podcasting as a tool for authentic human connection, a vision she continues to share through mentoring and training media and communication students.
