Course Description
Sound is a core element of influence in persuasion and in building a media presence that often precedes meaning itself. It is a distinctive signature that touches emotion and stimulates imagination. In media work, vocal tone can carry the entire message—or undermine it completely if breathing falters or rhythm is lost.
Course Objective
By the end of this course, participants will:
• Identify the importance of voice, its key components, and its impact on the audience.
• Apply vocal focus and proper breathing techniques to control performance.
• Develop vocal performance abilities and control the voice in terms of pitch, power, rhythm, and tone.
• Improve delivery skills, including articulation, text segmentation, and emphasis points within sentences.
• Deliver the vocal performance that captures the listener’s attention and sustains engagement.

• Voice: concept and core elements:
- The importance of voice in media work.
- Vocal characteristics and their effect on the audience.
- The relationship between voice, personality, psychological state, and self-confidence.
• Vocal focus, control, and mastery:
- Diaphragmatic breathing techniques.
- Relaxation and concentration methods.
- Manage fear and emotional responses during delivery.
• Vocal expression and sound image building:
- Vocal pitch and how to employ it effectively.
- Vocal strength and presence without strain.
- Vocal rhythm, pace, and dynamics.
- Tone and the construction of a compelling vocal image.
• Professional delivery and voice presentation skills:
- Correct vocal delivery and articulation.
- Text segmentation and sentence structuring.
- Identify emphasis points within sentences to reinforce meaning and attract attention.
• Practical applications and performance development:
- Performance exercises using diverse texts (presentation, reading, narration).
- Identify common vocal errors and methods for correcting them.
- Develop a short personal training plan after the course to maximize impact.
