Education Above All has honoured Eman Al-Amri, Director of the Al Jazeera Media Institute, in recognition of her role and the Institute’s efforts as an active partner in supporting and training Al Fakhoora programme students through media training programmes delivered under the “Al Jazeera Ambassadors” initiative.

The recognition was presented during the annual ceremony of the Qatar Scholarship Programme, organised by the Foundation in the presence of a number of partners and educational and development institutions supporting the programme, where partners who contributed to expanding students’ access to education and professional development opportunities were recognised.

In this context, Eman Al-Amri underlined the importance of investing in young people’s capabilities, noting that the Institute is keen to widen the circle of beneficiaries of its training programmes and reach ambitious young groups, in a way that helps build a generation capable of harnessing media and knowledge in the service of their communities.

This recognition also reaffirms the strength of the partnership between the two sides, and acknowledges the role played by the Al Jazeera Media Institute in supporting educational and development initiatives aimed at empowering young people and building their capacities in various fields of media work.

The cooperation between the Al Jazeera Media Institute and Education Above All is regarded as a model for partnerships aimed at empowering youth and equipping them with media and communication skills that enhance their academic and professional prospects. Over the past years, Al Fakhoora programme students have benefited from a range of specialised courses and training workshops delivered by the Institute’s experts and trainers as part of the “Al Jazeera Ambassadors” initiative.
