AJMI - Doha
During the upcoming month of December, Al Jazeera Media Institute is going to launch at his Headquarters a series of training courses for youth, covering various media and creative skills including television presentation, voice and speech skills, mobile photography, negotiation, theatre performance, podcast production and entrepreneurship. These courses will be delivered by a team of experts and specialists, providing an educational experience that combines direct interaction with practical application.
These programs reflect the Institute’s commitment to developing skills of young generations, polishing their personalities and empowering them to use media tools and express themselves with confidence and responsibility. These courses are characterized by their practical nature, allowing participants to produce their own works, such as recording short podcast episodes or creating visual reports using their own mobiles.
These courses focus on developing a set of core skills such as expression and communication skills through articulated speech and organized ideas, boosting self-confidence and media presence through proper dealing with the camera and audience and how to manage stress during presentation. They also foster critical thinking and negotiation skills by analyzing situations, adopting balanced viewpoints and engaging in persuasive dialogues.
Additionally, they nurture creativity and content production through writing short scripts, filming and editing visual materials, and producing meaningful podcasts. These programs also reinforce teamwork, problem-solving and self-expression skills, in addition to enhancing media taste among youth to help them understand content creation mechanisms and its societal impact.
It is worth noting that Al Jazeera Media Institute’s initiatives in this regard contribute to building a generation equipped with the necessary tools for the future, capable of positive participation in society and aware of the role and influence of media in daily life.
