AJMI hosts a student delegation from Al-Andalus Primary School for Boys

On Wednesday, October 2, Al Jazeera Media Institute hosted a student delegation from Al-Andalus Primary School for Boys.
This visit comes within the framework of the Institute's commitment to its social responsibility and its continuous endeavor to promote awareness of media importance among younger generations.
During the visit, students were briefed on the various facilities of the institute, where they started by television studio to learned about the role of the machine reader (auto-cue) in facilitating the task of news presenter. A practical explanation was given about challenges that presenters usually face during live news bulletins, in addition to common mistakes that may occur during on-air broadcasts.
The tour also included a visit to photography studio, where students were briefed on importance of light in capturing professional photos.
Students expressed their happiness with this experience, as student Hussain Fahd said: "This is my first visit to a real TV studio, and the experience of reading from the machine reader was very enjoyable.
Such visits aim to develop students' awareness of the importance of media work and introduce them to the tools and techniques used in this field to develop their knowledge and enhance their media abilities in order to encourage them to join this field in the future.
