AJMI introduces Newton International Academy students to media training opportunities

AJMI - Doha

The Al Jazeera Media Institute participated in a career fair organized by Newton International Academy (Barwa City branch) on October 19, 2026.

The event provided high school students with an opportunity to explore educational and professional choices and gain insight into the requirements of their fields of interest. The Institute’s booth welcomed approximately 100 students, introducing them to a range of programs designed for both youth and adults, including various courses, diploma programs, in-person training, and e-learning options. Students inquired about offerings of the Institute and how its programs could support their academic pursuits and future careers.

Discussions with students highlighted that acquiring media skills provide them with lifelong tools that evolve alongside their personal experiences. Skills such as expressing ideas, communicating with others, and creating content are highly valuable and transferable to both academic and professional settings, regardless of career path that a student chooses to pursue.

This participation reflects Al Jazeera Media Institute’s ongoing efforts to reinforce ties with educational institutions, informing students about available opportunities for skill development, and help them understand importance of these skills to their personal interests and future aspirations.
