AJMI - Doha

As part of Al Jazeera Media Institute's belief in the significance of media and its impact on individuals and society, the Institute is organising a Media Literacy Workshop aiming to promote critical thinking among media professionals and students of media, journalism and/or any related disciplines.

The workshop will be held in the Institute on the evening 12th November from 4 pm to 9 pm Doha time.

This workshop targets media graduates, journalists and those employed in media organisations, as well as students interested in the media field or those intending to enter the media domain.

 The workshop aims to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts and theories of media culture, acquaint them with various types of media sources and how they operate and underscore the importance of developing critical thinking skills through the analysis of media contexts.
