AJMI – Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute participated in Communication Exhibition accompanying Career Counsellors’ Forum-2026, organized by Qatar Career Development Center, affiliated with Qatar Foundation, on September 2, bringing tother more than 200 academic and career counsellors from various educational institutions across the country.

in its participation, the Institute focused on engaging directly with career counsellors and introducing them to the nature of its work, services, and training programs designed for both young people and secondary school students, in order to help counsellors guide and direct students towards training opportunities that match with their interests and career aspirations.

The Institute’s team also showcased programs that help sharpen media skills, developing public speaking, communication skills, and presentation abilities. It presented practical examples illustrating how these programs bring students closer to professional practice in the media field. The initiative drew attention and interest of counsellors and raised an exchange of views on the best ways to guide students towards media careers.

Institute participation provided an opportunity to establish effective communication channels with counsellors and broaden the reach of the its programs among educational institutions and target groups. It also formed part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Al Jazeera Media Institute, Qatar Career Development Center, and stakeholders involved in student guidance, in order to boost the interest of  career counselling in media field and promoting greater career awareness among young people.
