AJMI SIGNS A MOU WITH QATAR POST

AJMI - Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute (AJMI) and Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, March 9, to develop the skills of Qatar Postal Services Company's cadres and empower them with various media skills.

In the presence of representatives from both sides, Abdullah Shalash Al Hajri, Executive Director of Human Resources of Qatar Post, and Eman Al Ameri, Director of the Institute, signed the Agreement.

On this occasion, Eman Al Ameri welcomed the agreement, noting that the cooperation between the two sides is constantly renewed, as they previously cooperated in holding training courses for the company's leaders, considering this agreement a first step towards further cooperation between the two parties.

Abdullah Shalash Al-Hajri, in his statement, expressed his admiration for the relationship between Qatar Post and Al Jazeera Media Institute. He highlighted that the relationship between the two entities has been established for more than a decade, which is a significant accomplishment. Moreover, he emphasized that the Institute holds a leadership position at the regional level in its field.

Additionally, Abdullah Shalash Al-Hajri stated that Qatar Post has started preparing to finalize an agreement with Al Jazeera Media Institute. The agreement is aimed at setting up training, development, and media courses for cadres at Qatar Post. The courses are expected to enhance the capabilities of Qatar Post employees and equip them with the necessary skills to achieve their goals.

The purpose of this memorandum is to establish a long-term media cooperation framework between the two parties. The primary focus of this cooperation is to improve training and development initiatives, particularly for the company's media cadres. The company is eager to enhance the professional efficiency of its employees, particularly in media appearances. Additionally, the company aims to leverage the expertise, capabilities, and resources of the Institute to achieve its media-related objectives.

Furthermore, the company acknowledges Al Jazeera Media Network as the premier media institution in Qatar and the Arab world. The company recognizes the Institute's reputation as a leader in the media industry, particularly with respect to expertise, training, and development. Therefore, the company seeks to benefit from the Institute's knowledge and resources in these areas. Ultimately, the company aims to enhance the quality of its media offerings and achieve its goals through this partnership.

It is worth mentioning that this partnership is not the first collaboration between the two parties. The Institute has previously trained several national competencies and staff members of the company for several years. It is important to note that this memorandum is specific to development and training and will last for a maximum of three years.

The memorandum outlines several areas of cooperation, including organizing training courses that focus on enhancing media appearances and how to effectively manage television interviews. The production unit at Al Jazeera Media Institute will also produce marketing and documentary films for the company. Additionally, the partnership includes various media consultations, seminars, conferences, and joint workshops. These initiatives will enable the two entities to leverage their expertise and resources to achieve their media-related objectives.
