AJMI & Syrian International Academy concludes course in Damascus
AJMI – Damascus
Al Jazeera Media Institute, in cooperation with Syrian International Academy in Damascus, held an intensive five-day television presenting course, attended by 18 trainees interested in developing and professionalizing their skills in this field.
This course comes as part of a partnership program between the two institutions, aimed at enhancing visual media skills and supplying the market with qualified media professionals capable of appearing confidently and professionally on camera.

The course was delivered by journalist Ayman Azzam, presenter at Al Jazeera Media Network, who focused on strengthening news and talk-show presentation skills through practical exercises simulating real television studio environments.
Azzam ensured that trainees were equipped with tools of professional performance, starting with mastering body language and vocal expression, and extending to the finer details that distinguish a presenter’s performance, such as breath control, adjusting vocal tone and maintaining proper eye contact to enhance audience confidence and credibility.
The course also included training on dealing with the camera and time management during broadcast, along with individual feedback for each participant to improve their professional performance and to raise it to a more advanced level.

At the end of the course, participants praised the trainer’s expertise and his attention to fine details, which contributed to improving their performance. Azzam also commended their seriousness and engagement, wishing them a distinguished media career and continued success in television presentation.
It is worth noting that the Institute and the Academy are preparing to launch another course in Damascus from December 6 to 10.
